The restaurant has a nice decor and has a pleasant atmosphere. There is a long list of rolls to choose from along with the standard nigiri options. The items we had on our visit were decent, nothing special. Service was very poor and inattentive even though we were the waiter's only table. Overall, decent, but there are better options and values for sushi. I do not plan to return and would not recommend.

The food here was great! We loved everything we had, especially the Oh My God Roll! This is my new sushi place & it could only be improved by valet parking and getting rid of the silverware chopsticks. Otherwise, it was fabulous!!!

Rice texture was some of best I’ve had – separate yet not falling apart, w/ a nice “airyness” so the toppings’/ingredients’ come through. Fish adequate to excellent; uni and a white fish the biggest disapointments; not bad but on the edge. Miso soup “off” the 1st visit; better the 2nd. Service excellent but both times slow. A little pricey. Tani adds to the trend towards complex, cutesy named rolls. Unfortunately too common with places that feature rolls more attention to the individual ingredients would perk

Great new sushi place in Clayton. Lots of creative and unusual rolls, including a number I've never seen elsewhere.

I have eaten here several times since they have opened in last few weeks. The food here is incredible. I’ve had sushi all over this city and I must say this is by far “THE BEST”. Try the Clayton and Sex and the City Rolls. Specialty cocktails here as well make the atmosphere inviting and comfortable. I highly recommend this place for personal and business dining.
