Saw their profile on Channel 4, had to try. The good news: Soup of the day, tomato/basil was perfectly prepared and delicious. Shrimp & Basil rissoto was very tasty; Bruschetta, yummy; Monkffish plate and Beef Braciole were both absolutely super and full of flavor. Ordered a 2nd Braciole! Salads were great, four cheese flatbread pizza was superb, asparagus w/pancetta was a treat. Blueberry Ice Cream & Estancia Pino Noir = A+++ Bad News: Service slow, but we were told they had 2 no shows.

First visit with high expectations but incredibly slow service on Friday night was a problem. Management brought over 2 complimentary starters to hold us over which was a very nice touch. Some entrees came out not finished--a frittata that was more like runny scrambled eggs with zucchini and onions--tagliatelle that came out nearly cold. I think they were rushing things out of the kitchen as we'd been there nearly 2 hours by that time. Will wait a few months before trying again.

Great menu! We tried the bruschetta of the day, duck with polenta, angel hair with tomatoes, caprese salad and the prosciutto/salame plate. All were excellent! We chose 5 plates and a bottle of wine...with tip our bill was only $79! Fantastic value. It's nice to have the option of eating Italian style foods without monstrous portions in STL. We'll definitely be back.
